 Old Gods is a hub-based, episodic horror themed action-adventure game, heavily grounded in folklore and mythology, mixed together with classical Victorian ghost and horror stories.

The main protagonist comes from a long line of exorcists and occult scholars, serving the British Empire. The game is set in the late 19th century and the edge of the modern era.

Players must travel across different parts of Europe , trying to overcome various paranormal  threats, why solving the mystery of their own bloodline.

The main tools the players have for this is their knowledge of various rituals and incantations they can prepare and craft using various ingredients found in the environment.

Players also have access to "The Sight" - a power that allows them to see and interact with the spirit realm, in which they can use various eldritch powers to open new paths of exploration or find additional means to fight supernatural forces.
