Cargo Hunters is a cross-platform (Mobile/PC)  third-person, extraction shooter in which players control robotic operators as they salvage the ruins of civilization. I worked on as a senior designer in both UI/UX as well as gameplay design related role.

In-game HUD, Touch Controls and UX
Worked on HUD and touch controls UI. Followed by interaction design and various UX tasks - action system, item highlighting, body damage indication. Focus on feedback and clear small-screen tells for actions - reloading, stamina drain, field repair, etc.

Mission Selection, Shelter and Crafting Screens
Designed, wireframed and created mock-ups for most "meta" screens, such as Shelter Management (progression and crafting), Navigation, Mission Selection, Extraction Screen and Shopping.

Inventory Management and Weapon/Rig Customization

Most challenging aspect of this project. Created a grid-based inventory system with fast and intuitive interactions for equipping and storing items in various slots and containers, that supports both dragging, as well tap-selection.  Players also needed to be able to open "containers within containers" endlessly, and attach/remove various weapon parts and get weapon stats with ease.
Finally small items such as bullets needed to provide information about their caliber, quality level and penetration ranking at a glance.

Responsibilities:
- Wireframing and Mock-Ups
- UI and UX Design across  all game screens and systems
- Touch screen control and interaction design

Tools Used:

Unity 5 ; Adobe Photoshop CS 5; Notion; Jira; Microsoft Power Point
